The radiation hybrid map, on the right of each page, is based on the Goodfellow T51 radiation hybrid panel. Begun by Pascal Haffter in 1998, it now combines data from our lab and from the Children's Hospital Zebrafish Genome Initiative, Boston, led by Yi Zhou, as well as data submitted to us by other researchers. Boston markers are indicated by "*", and submitted markers by "#".
We are currently adding several thousand new markers to the radiation hybrid map, in particular ESTs (for which primer sequences are provided to us by the WashU-Zebrafish Genome Resources Project, led by Stephen L. Johnson) and BAC ends (to produce a physical map from contigs that we generated in the Zebrafish Genome Fingerprinting Project).
The genetic map, on the left, shows SSLP markers mapped by the lab of Mark Fishman which we selected for anchoring the radiation hybrid map, as well as mutations mapped by our lab. The complete SSLP map is available from the MGH Zebrafish WWW Server.
